Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as of 1st November 2024)

Educational Qualification
- 10th Pass + 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Fire OR
- 12th Pass (Regular Study)
Driving License Requirement
Candidates must possess:
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License OR
- Valid Medium Vehicle License (at least 1-year-old) OR
- Valid Light Motor Vehicle License (at least 2-year-old)
Candidates with Medium or Light Vehicle License must obtain Heavy Vehicle License within 1 year of appointment.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages:
1. Written Examination (CBT)
- Duration: 2 hours
- Total Marks: 100
- Qualifying Marks:
- UR/EWS/OBC: 50/100
- SC/ST: 40/100
- Exam Syllabus:
- Part A (50% Questions) – Subject-related questions (Educational Qualification-based)
- Part B (50% Questions) – General Knowledge, Aptitude, Reasoning, English
2. Document Verification & Medical Examination
Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and medical tests, including:
- Eye Check-up: 6/6 vision without glasses
- Color Vision: Normal
- Hearing & Speech: Normal
3. Driving Test (LMV)
Only candidates who clear document verification and medical tests will proceed to the driving test.
4. Physical Endurance Test (PET)
The Physical Endurance Test (PET) includes:
- 100m Running
- Casualty Carrying Test
- Pole Climbing
- Rope Climbing
- Ladder Climbing and Descending
Ex-Agniveers are exempted from PET but must meet all other criteria.
5. Final Merit List
Final selection is based on Written Exam (CBT) scores only. PET is qualifying in nature.
