Special Considerations:
- CPL Holders: Candidates with a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) issued by DGCA (India) are eligible for Pilot Entry.
- Merchant Navy Officers: Candidates with a Certificate of Competency issued by the Ministry of Shipping & Transport can apply for General Service (Executive) and Technical Branches.
- NCC Candidates: Holders of an NCC ‘C’ Certificate with a minimum B grade will receive a 5% relaxation in shortlisting.
Selection Process
The selection process includes:
1. Shortlisting of Applications
- Shortlisting is based on normalized marks obtained in the qualifying degree.
- Candidates with higher academic performance will be prioritized.
2. SSB Interview
Stages:
Stage I: Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) Test & Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PPDT)
Stage II: Psychological Tests, Group Tasks, and Personal Interview
3. Medical Examination
- Candidates recommended by SSB will undergo a medical examination.
4. Final Merit List
- The final selection is based on SSB performance and medical fitness.
- Training at INA Ezhimala will commence in January 2026.
